The kind of business I work with is airgapped, with the exception of few "potential security breachpoints", and the idea that winio demands permanent, persistent, intrusive access from a foreign corporation is absolutely unsupportable. i.e. it ain't gonna happen. Numerous Linux (and linux-server/windows-client hybrid) trials are in progress. If they go well, a lot of others will use their findings, but none of the trials even consider winio as an option.

Yes, indeed the majority of business have already migrated to Windows 10 since unlike Windows 7/8/8.1 it provides a better performance as well as having the number of new features such as the same platform for either PC and mobile gadgets like tablets and phones. :)

... care to back that up with real info (both "majority of business" as well as "better performance", because every other reply to this question here and elsewhere, (and my own experience) says exactly the opposite is true, and as to performance out of the box it is the same (and worse than a hyper-tuned w7 - which btw can not be done to w10 to anywhere near the same level.) And the question was MAJOR companies, not uncle Ernies Corner Deli.

We did it. No big deal.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data. There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

We did it. Simple. No big deal at all. At least no different than other major OS upgrades in the past.

Less than 10% of my clients have switched. The rest are sticking with 7.
