I just hope some lawyer doesn't decide to drag the whole thing out with 10 years of appeals. As far as I am concerned, if the jury gives him the death penalty, it should be carried out within the hour.

Isn't it literally their job to drag it out?

There is nothing non-Christian about the death penalty in a case like this. :^)

They escort him out of the courthouse with a bullet proof vest on. Why not remove it and hope someone else saves the taxpayers money and executes him. :^)

In capital cases there are a series of automatic appeals - even if the convicted doesn't want them.

Because it would be a waste of resources to hold another murder trial but I wouldn't be surprised if the local District Attorney decides not to file charges.

I'm sure they will come up with some psychological reason why he was unable to resist murdering all those people. Some crap about his troubled childhood.

Maybe, and also KFC recommends pepsi. However, neither are of any importance as far as this case is concerned.

The biggest problem with this case is they keep saying white killed black. That is a racist statement in itself. It should be person killed people even if it was a hate crime. Too bad this has to go on for several more years.

Stating the facts is racist? :wtf: Would you say the same if the hues were reversed? If an insane black guy shot up a church full of white folks, because he didn't like white folks, would you still insist on the "person kills people" headline? Perhaps we should go a step further: "People involved in shooting incident".

Yes! If we were not racist then the headline would not indicate race. By-the-way the headline could read "One man kills nine at church".
