Ahh yes, every year I'll do Christmas Shopping in time. Every year end up in a 24 hour Petrol Station on Xmas eve! :laugh:

This is why I do the present shopping in September or October, and prepare the food well in advance (the turkey breasts are marinating in butter, sage, black pepper, and lemon peel in the freezer ready for the Sous Vide, and have been since the beginning of November). I hate trawling round shops with no idea what I'm going to get, bumped and jostled by a crowd of morons with the same lack of ideas, and simmering up to a slow burn where the whole idea of Christmas makes me consider a career change to "serial killer". :laugh:
