I took the dogs out after they woke me up at 2 in the morning. Standing on my deck looking at the moon an hour before it set. I saw this fly in front of the moon, flare bright green and disappear behind some clouds! I'm in central Michigan and the videos are from Illinois and Wisconsin! Anyone else catch something like this?

A meteor is any of the small solid extraterrestrial bodies that hits the earth's atmosphere. A meteorite is a stony or metallic object that is the remains of a meteoroid that has reached the earth's surface. No one saw it hit the surface.
Ah, so you're a silent-tree-falling-in-the-forest supporter. The trouble is that you've got to define "small". Every little piece that broke off in the atmosphere landed somewhere - possibly quite slowly, because friction would absorb their inertia.

I read the title and instantly casted Shell and Protect, before realizing you weren't casting Meteor upon us. Well, I'd ask to Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden if something strange happens upon the shores of lake Michigan... I suspect something on Demonreach went awry (not that it surprises me). I anticipate a LOT of discussions in the Jim Butcher fan club.
