By extension a "lazer" is one who lazes around, no? So lazer is a real word, just not so useful as a weapon or cutting tool. Actually sometimes I'm a lazer; but what I tell the wife is I'm busy stopping the couch from floating away.

So this guy spelled "LASER" as "LAZER" and when asked he said he "knew" that Americans used a 'z' everywhere there's an 's'. Genuine WTF? :doh:

I bet the same guy "knows" that Germans universally (a) wear monocles, (b) replace 'V' with 'F' and 'W' with 'V' even when speaking English, and (c) have all the evil parts in films. :doh: X|

:laugh: But I found it really amusing what he knew about British and US spelling differences, cheque v/s check and aluminium v/s aluminum in particular. :) -- EDIT and oh, aeroplane v/s airplane too.
