It was episode 23 and not 14 when Captain Kurt had his insignia at a 25 degree tilt instead of the standard 22.5 degree tilt. Check the video tape if you don't believe me. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

Lighten up Nick. :rose: Here in the Lounge, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE, from complete newbies to "The Man" [Chris Maunder] himself) occassionally takes a little abuse. My advice: Learn to take it like a man and dish it out when you can. But most importantly, don't take it seriously. Save the serious stuff for the Soapbox. ;P Mike Mullikin

hey all, whats up with nightcrawler acting the villian in the new X-MEN movie (X2)? I thought he was a member of the original X-MEN? Nick

Nearly every X-Men member has been a villian at some point or another. Heck, that's true of most Marvel heroes. Kinda like the soaps for adolecents and geeks, but on over priced paper. (And I'm included in this category, so don't take offense.) I have to admit, though, that I don't recall any time in which Nightcrawler was a villian... In any event, Nightcrawler most certainly was not a member of the original X-Men. The roster was: Jean Grey (just Jean Grey, not any of her other monickers, and before her Pheonix powers were realized), Cyclops, Angel, Ice Man, Beast and Professor X. This was in X-Men Vol. 1. Nightcrawler didn't show up until Giant-Size X-Men Vol. 1. This was 12 years later. I believe he was a founding member of Excalibur, however. The first movie, as good as it was, hardly followed comic history (which ever rewrite of said history you want to take as gospel), so why should the second? William E. Kempf

These websites (as Do I) disagree with you..not only was nightcrawler an X-Man, but for a short period of time (when Storm lost her powers), he took over as leader of the team. http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Realm/6198/Nightcrawler.html http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/attenborough/64/X-Men/bios/Por\_Kurt.htm Nick
