So [James Bond](http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/roger-moore-dead-james-bond-actor-dies-died-pretenders-aged-89-a7751516.html) is dead... :sigh: I know everybody likes discussing who the better Bond was, and people have even starting to include George Lazenby after so many years (although I don't understand why). I'm not saying Sir Roger was the best, but I always liked his movies. My favourite Bond movie of all is actually "The Spy Who Loved Me"... AND he had the good sense to marry a Dane! RIP Bond

:rose: That is a shame. I am glad he lived a full life and I too liked his movies. I think Sean Connery's Bond character was better, but I tended to prefer Roger's movies. He was quite funny and suave.

There were rumors last year that they are considering a female Bond for a future movie.

That is so cool. It's my favorite too. I remember stumbling upon that movie when I was 10. It was on HBO or something. That beginning part where he shoots the bad guys with his ski pole gun. What!?! It was like 1977 or something. I sat there mesmerized. Who is this James Bond? Underwater car? What!?! Jaws (the tall bady guy)? What!?! All the cool tech.

The Saint was an answer to one of the last weeks Washington Post crossword puzzles, the clue being Roger Moore (and Val Kilmer).

I liked also other films of him like Simon Templar or my favorite Persuaders. An outstanding and noble actor passed by. RIP :rose:

So [James Bond](http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/roger-moore-dead-james-bond-actor-dies-died-pretenders-aged-89-a7751516.html) is dead... :sigh: I know everybody likes discussing who the better Bond was, and people have even starting to include George Lazenby after so many years (although I don't understand why). I'm not saying Sir Roger was the best, but I always liked his movies. My favourite Bond movie of all is actually "The Spy Who Loved Me"... AND he had the good sense to marry a Dane! RIP Bond

He was my least favourite Bond, he went through everything as if it were a joke. I rather like Brosnan, Craig, and to most people's surprise, Dalton. Probably Brosnan, Dalton and Craig if I had to order them.

A good actor, indeed. ------ Reports have it that some of his pallbearers slipped, partially losing their grip on his casket. Don't worry, he was only "shaken, not stirred" to fright like some onlookers were. .

He's not dead. The story is MI5 cover as he is being sent in to tackle ISIS.

Calling his wife a dog is rather harsh.
