Greetings all! Love the look of this wide-aspect display... especially with the 20 VC++ tool windows docked. Is there anyone out there using one of these for day-to-day development work? Trying to justify the outlay to myself :) Finding buying online a bit scary.

I am running 1400 x 1050 for a res. and I love it. I will use this for day-to-day stuff til I get my hard drive replaced and I can get back to my desktop. I got one just two days ago and love it. The wide aspect display is great for VS.NET. Lee "Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a QTip!" - Homer Simpson

I just got one 2 days ago. 1920 x 1600 resolution - had to play with the fonts but talk about real estate! I'm still undecided on the flex keyboard though, feels kinda flimsy. Jarrod

Anna goes green with envy Only joking. ;) I've a Vaio as well (a (PCG-FX502), though it's a year old now and only has a 1024x768 display. It's served me well so far, although I'm thinking of buying a LCD monitor to give me a bit more real estate! However, at work I've a Dell 2GHz Xeon box with twin 17" monitors (1280 x 1024) which makes up for the small screen on my laptop... I dabble, but I'm not a wiz with it. One of my colleagues is much more experienced in that regard. I do spend an awful lot of time working on controls, UI layout and that sort of thing though. Anna :rose: Homepage | My life in tears "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up.
