Yey, to LastPass. Simple enough to use, with cross platform support. Occasionally OTT with some of the security requirements, and not sure it really gets having multiple concurrent devices in use but otherwise really like.

Yay. I got Keepass KeePass Password Safe[^] as recommended in a post in the Lounge some time ago. Very easy to use across Windows and Ubuntu (with mono) and keeps improving. I manually sync database using FreeFileSync. I don't worry about other devices but: How to Use KeePass In Your Browser, Across Your Computers, and On Your Phone[^]

Yeah, or nay? If so, which one and why? (Yes, I could just do a search here, but that would be late week's opinions) Multi-device preferred.

Yes, and I use Keeper. Mobile, Internet Browsers, desktop, all synced to the cloud in the sky. Best Password Manager & Secure Digital Vault - Keeper[^]

I use keeper - it works across multiple devices. When I hit an issue with google two factor authentication going south on my device(not the fault of Keeper but the google app) they followed up my questions with helpful advice and then checked with me on whether I had resolved the issue. I am one of those old fashioned people who believe that good customer service counts for a lot, hence why I have stick with Keeper.

Notepad is best. Just create a file notpasswords.txt and store it on your desktop.

I've signed up with 1Password because it has a family plan for a reasonable flat yearly fee. I like that it has a full Windows application in addition to the mobile app. Their browser add-ons are pretty good too. They also just added fingerprint security to their mobile so it's much easier to use now.

Most are. As for me, I do not have the time to roll my own burritos. So, I pay someone else to make the burritos, and I just eat them. So much easier that way. Also, I know the burrito is going to be made perfect, every time because the chef knows more about making an authentic burrito, then I do..

...and with that analogy, can I assume then that any software you 'pay someone else to make' is going to be perfect, every time? Everyone's different I suppose. If I have a kitchen, the ingredients to build a burrito, and enough time, I'd rather cook/build/roll it myself. :) Now, I'm not making burritos for everyone, and I'm not making a full course meal...there are limits!

I think you may have missed the point in your effort to roll your own half-assed burrito. The point is, your burrito making skills suck compared to the master chef's creation. Jack of all trades, master of none. Keeper is better than ANYTHING you or I can roll any day of the week. So, why would I use anything else?

This burrito analogy is getting absurd. I think you may have missed the point that some professional cooks (developers) actually enjoy cooking (creating software/solving problems) for personal consumption. If you demand 'a perfect burrito every time' then I agree, you are better off paying someone else to make it for you. :) I think I know what I'm having for dinner!
