Today, I saw someone else mail box. 100s of unread mail. How does he sleep at night?
I do not fear of failure. I fear of giving up out of frustration.
Those are there to let everyone know how much he is occupied...

Deeply and comfortably. Most of management here seem to make it a practice of having over 1,000 unread emails at any given time. It shows that they are extremely busy and don't have time to speak with you. At least that seems to be the collective agreement in management. I try to enforce my own rule of check email at set times during the day. When I come in, halfway through my day, and before I leave. There are obvious exceptions where I've set up specific customers so it displays a notification. There are a handful where messages are more than likely it is time sensitive (or at least in their mind). Otherwise, if it is an emergency you can pick up the phone and call me.

That's a repost of your earlier question: How to set DESCRIPTION field in system catalog using code[^] You waited 20 months after Matt posted a solution that didn't work, and rather than taking it up with Matt, or updating your question with more details, you reposted the question. :doh: That sort of behaviour is strongly discouraged.

My wife has 10,000's of unread emails. Literally. X| She just changed email accounts. Clean slate. :laugh:

You bring up a really good point. Haven't had a bad experience yet because true emergencies that just cannot wait until the next day have only happened once or twice. Normally most things that people feel are emergencies can wait until the next day. Pretty much the only reason is that I try to extend the same courtesy that I want. If I send you a message requesting info, at least respond and let me know you saw it and that you'll get back to me. Otherwise I'll follow up in a few days trying not to think that you're either inconsiderate or lazy.
