I was looking at a video in which NET Reflector was used to show a nasty program doing bad stuff like key logging, but unfortunately NET Reflector doesn't seem to be free anymore  so I am looking at playing around with a substitute that is free. Any ideas?

In response to RedGate going all $$$ with Reflector, ILSpy[^] has risen.

          I like dotPeek[^] by JetBrains.

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism. Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Like many before me ILSpy and dotPeek. I'm running both because dotPeek is slow at startup but handles lambdas beautifully. ILSpy is quick on startup (if you unload all dlls before closing it) which makes it a quick check tool.

I've been using JustDecompile[^] by Telerik ever since .NET Reflector became non-free. It's pretty good. I think you need a Telerik account though.

Thank you for adding this one to the list - installation requires indeed user e-mail, but the tool looks great ...

I'm not saying its the best, but another one to add to your evaluation list is RustemSoft Refractor.
