U.S. declares North Korea carried out massive WannaCry cyberattack[^] To quote: "The WannaCry attack, the official said, "demonstrates the importance of basic cyber hygiene,...." - Well duh! And how about spending money to upgrade your antiquated XP operating system, to something more resistant to Ransom viruses, like Windows 10?

This is nothing more than political propaganda against NK and has nothing to do with a programmers forum.

I think Cybersecurity issues and programming are growing progressively closer together, so it's not irrelevant. I do feel totally awful that North Korea's good name is being besmirched so scandalously, though. :rolleyes:

Political commentary is supposedly an off topic here. However, one can be forgiven for getting the impression that certain members here support and encourage US propaganda.

"Programmer's Forum" is not the same as "Forum for discussing programs". You imply that programmers should not discuss anything but programs.
