No offences...Vikram, how come you are posting a lot of messages one after the other. I will not ask this question if you are living in a western country or if you are working...you are in college (i know now it could be summer holidays or pre-semester holidays)...are you connected through a cable modem or what?? In case you don't know who he is, he's the host of "The Planet's Funniest Animals" on the Animal Planet channel. For months, i thought he was way cooool and funny. My dad and kid brother had the same opinion. Then I thought of Googling for Matt Gallant, and :wtf: - 9 out of 10 sites heap abuse on him and say he should be fired or be killed. I did see a miniscule minority saying they liked him, but their voices were drowned out. And practically all his fans seem to be girls. I mean, there's this character you're a big fan of, for many months. Then you find that the rest of the world thinks he's a jerk. Am I (apart from my family, of course) the only one that likes him? Vikram. ----------------------------- 1. Then you find that the rest of the world thinks he's a jerk Don't worry about it, it is what you think about him that matters. And certainly don't change your mind because the rest of the world disagrees. There is this movie critic here in South Africa called Barry Ronge. You either love him or hate him, I for one love him. The guy is damned smart, knows his stuff and 9/10 when he recommends a movie I like it. But it is severly un-cool for someone in my generation to like him. He is fat and most people think he is gay (which are pathetic reasons not to like him, but anyway.) I have been ridiculed endlessly at school and now even work for liking him, but I stood by him and that matters IMO. However if this Matt Gallant is anything like that Aussie jerk Steve Erwin (the crocodile hunter chap) then I am with the rest of the world in thinking Matt is a jerk. Can't stand people who exploit animals for entertainment, they should bloody leave those poor koalas, crocs, bears, snakes etc. alone. Be respectful of them I say, don't mud wrestle them and make a fool of yourself in the process.

Paul Watson wrote: Can't stand people who exploit animals for entertainment Can't agree with you more...but all Matt does is show home videos that people shot of their pets. Ravish wrote: So you guys like Ban or miss chennai I miss Chennai, apparently B'lore has their own version of Dosa / Sambar / Thali rice, I would say its more north India style and did I tell B'lore has one of the worst public transport facilities, no metro trains, no proper town buses etc etc. But I do appreciate the Cosmopoliton nature and off course enjoy the climate, particularly the summer, its so cool here and thinking of Chennai weather makes you apperciate the place. - Kannan
