No, I'm not leaving here - I'm retiring today  I've been programming since 1967 (high school), and it's time.

Good luck, I tried retiring for a few days, but it was too boring, so I started another business.

          Good luck on your retirement.

Perhaps now you'll have time to learn a new language, such as C.

Conga-rats!! I wish you the best of luck in retirement!

As for me, and I am within a year or two of you, I doubt I will ever retire. One of my hobbies is playing with programming languages. Here, I am getting paid for my hobby! I haven't worked a day in years!

My other job is ranching. Yes, I know, it sounds crazy, but I really enjoy it, even though it means caring for my herd and the guard dogs first thing in the morning (4:30 AM) and last thing at night (10:30 PM). (My wife cares for them during the day.) It is sooo peaceful with my nearest neighbors being one tenth of a mile away - I could never go back to urban or suburban living.

Have you heard of how the rancher's retirement party opens? The minister, in a very somber tone, begins with: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered today the celebrate the life of ..."
