Usually any old thundering Delta Blues tune will do. Not the phony stuff that passes for R&B nowadays. Give me old school stuff from Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon etc. I especially like Steppenwolf's version of "Hoochie Coochie Man"[^]
Sometimes the true reward for completing a task is not the money, but instead the satisfaction of a job well done. But it's usually the money.

Yeah, thats my kind of music, good old thumping blues/rock. I have a great heavy version of Boom Boom by Hooker that also excellent. You must like my choice to I guess?

Pink Floyd - Time (Dark Side_ starts off quiet (clocks ticking), then riiiiing ding-ding-ding bong-bong-bong (lots of alarms/clocks chiming) if I've had a good sleep I can wake up during the early quiet part (the tick-tick-tick)

Hah! I was going to mention that one - I used to wake up to it every morning when I was 18-19.

It varies in time. As of now it's The Sisters of Mercy - Lucretia My Reflection - YouTube[^]. For a couple of years it was Skyrim: The Dragonborn Comes - Female Cover by Malukah - YouTube[^]. When I was younger, my alarm tune was, I'm not kidding, System Of A Down - Jet Pilot - YouTube[^].

I wake up to talk radio. At the time the radio starts up (5h45), there is a song that is playing, but it changes every morning.
I'd rather be phishing!

A couple years ago, my kid did a project on Muddy Waters for school, so being the responsible parent I took him to the Blues Heaven Foundation[^] at the site of the old Chess records building in Chicago. Where I talked with Willie Dixons grandson, and played his bass for a little while, it was pretty darn cool. :)

My favorite is my vibrating wristwatch. Tried waking up with music, failed. When music plays, I integrate that into my dreams instead of waking up.

Ah, OK. I wake up when I want, but love this tune to crank up first thing when I make my green tea. Really kicks the day off with a smile! :)

The alarm on my iPhone is AC/DC's Who Made Who (12" Extended Mix) from the deluxe edition of their Backtracks album. AC/DC - Who Made Who (12" Version) [HQ] - YouTube[^] If that doesn't wake you up I don't know what will.

The only time I've used an alarm clock in the last 25 years or so is when I'm traveling and I have an early flight. I despise alarms of all shapes and sizes. I get migraines X|, and one of the keys to managing them is ensuring I get enough sleep. If I need to sleep in an extra 15 or 30 minutes in the morning, I do it. As it is, I'm usually the first one in to work at 7:00 a.m or so.
