What's ur favourite beer? what about the worst?

Bitburger is my absolute favorite beer, followed bei Koepi (Königs Pilsener) and a few others. Favorite Kölsch: Früh, Gilden and Reissdorf. Worst beer ever: Küppers Kölsch, Eichbaum and well Tuborg's christmas beer. Cheers Martin "Situation normal - all fu***d up" Illuminatus! http://www.martin-haesemeyer.de

No, the American versions. I haven't tried the Czech beer yet. Is it anything like Pilsner Urquell? BW "I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific." - Lily Tomlin

The best: Almost every Belgian beer like Duvel, Westmalle, Orval, Hoegaarden, ...;P;P;P The worst: Dutch beer like Heineken. X| Franky.
Heineken is a fine lager. Personally I think it's the best. I like how it tastes before and after I've swallowed the beer. It's a win-win beer. :) However, I'd like to point out that I haven't had any Belgian beers so far, so I can't dispute your claim. :) -- Run around in the radiation Run around in the acid rain, On a black, black planet

It does rock. A Heineken goes well to food, to a hockey game, on the balcony a hot summer day. And it works quite well as a brain blaster device. ;) -- Run around in the radiation Run around in the acid rain, On a black, black planet

You can virtually taste it here: http://www.duvel.be[^] Be warned: it's a lot stronger than Heineken.
Strong beer generally tastes bad ;P IMO, anything above 5.5% is a failure. I've had one good strong beer (some Danish ale) so far. -- Run around in the radiation Run around in the acid rain, On a black, black planet

Cheap beer is our brain blaster of choice, something like Castle or Tafel Lager. It is a refined beer IMO, for actually enjoying. One of the very few beers I can say I actually like the taste.

John Honan wrote: 'Spur Steakhouse' Spur! Oh man, that is a staple of South Africa. From since I was a wee little laddy we went to the Spur. Still makes great burgers. Not a fine-food restaurant, but a good value for money family joint. As for Castle... well it tastes best in draught form, not very keen on it out of the bottle. But I will tell a client of ours that you like it, SABMiller (the client contact knows I don't like castle. So when we go down to the on-site pub I get Amstel or Black Label. mmmmmm :) )
