It was a milestone film of its time with some great acting. I agree the ending was poor by today's standards but it was an instant hit in its day, tapping into all the fear and paranoia that America endured after the war.

It was a milestone film of its time with some great acting. I agree the ending was poor by today's standards but it was an instant hit in its day, tapping into all the fear and paranoia that America endured after the war.
