At last, someone who knows when they've been licked in a fair fight. I would advise you to not lay on Code Project's floor. You never know who's been down there before you, or what was kicked out of them. :)

You're working on a project that's gonna "leave all those other tools for dead", and you don't even know how to draw to the screen? BWA HA HA HA HA! You must be a VB programmer - all you guys are working on a "next generation" app.

I'm amused that you're using a quote from the Blues Brothers, designed to make fun of how repetitive and unimaginative country music is. But to each his own. I know my mother thinks all Bon Jovi songs sound the same, and my wife thinks all Metallica songs sound the same. > I'm amused that you're using a quote from the Blues Brothers, > designed to make fun of how repetitive and unimaginative country > music is. I quoted them because it's a common frame of reference, kind of like when I use "an eye for an eye". It's a bible quote, and while I don't particularly buy into that whole bible thing, it provides a common frame of reference. > I know my mother thinks all Bon Jovi songs sound the same, and > my wife thinks all Metallica songs sound the same. Well, "Bon Jovi" sounds like some exotic sea food dish, and "Metallica" sounds like the aftertaste you get when your "Bon Jovi" wasn't cooked correctly. :)

Just to be overly picky.... ;) "An eye for an eye" isn't really a Bible quote. Jesus was quoting something else (not sure what that was, but I'm thinking it was Hamurabi's Code or something similar) and then telling them that they ought to do something better. (You can find it in Matthew 5:38) John

Jesus was quoting Exodus 21:22 Suppose a pregnant woman suffers a miscarriage as the result of an injury caused by someone who is fighting. If she isn’t badly hurt, the one who injured her must pay whatever fine her husband demands and the judges approve. 23 But if she is seriously injured, the payment will be life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, cut for cut, and bruise for bruise. The Contemporary English [computer file], electronic ed., Logos Library System, (Nashville: Thomas Nelson) 1997, c1995 by the American Bible Society. and Leviticus 24:19 Personal injuries to others must be dealt with in keeping with the crime—20 a broken bone for a broken bone, an eye for an eye, or a tooth for a tooth. You're right. Every once in a while, I forget to take into account that the New Testament quotations of the Old Testament don't have the same wording in the King James. So, "an eye for an eye" only shows up in one place in the computer Bible concordance I got for free. Ooops. :) John
