I just watched You Only Live Twice (once of the connery ones) the other day when I was bored - really enjoyed it. I now have all bar one of the DVDs in the collectable set - I can't seem to find Living Daylights in the shops anywhere. No prizes available for guessing why that's the only one I haven't bought yet. I have to be controversial though and say that one of my absolute favorites is tomorrow never dies - fantastic film. For me, brosnan is the second bond (connery of course being first!). The most recent film (Die Another Day, just released on DVD) is probably best in terms of bang for your bucks, but it has an absolutely awful CG scene in it which ruined the first watch for me. Second time round I expected it so the rest of the film shined much better. It also has the worst bond theme (and cameo) ever - madonna should be ashamed. just my most humble of opinions. -- Simon Steele Programmers Notepad - http://www.pnotepad.org/

I read somewhere that its because the DVD's bonus features include another actor ( Sam Neill??) auditioning for the Bond part that was included without his permission. Timothy Dalton is not exactly Mr Charming, but the movie was kind of interesting. Mainly because you don't really know what Bond is up to... Bijesh --------------------------------------------------

I was looking for Peter Lorre in the credits, then realized that the famous film was a remake of the original "Casino Royale"[^] shown on CBS-TV in 1954. Mr. Lorre (aka Ugarte in Casablanca, "You know Rick, I have many a friend in Casablanca, but somehow, just because you despise me you're the only one I trust.") was a classic in his own right.:-D "Please don't put cigarette butts in the urinal. Argh! I hope they re-issue it or I'm stuffed - an almost complete collection is useless! Of course the original with Sam Neill (or whoever) would be worth more... *sigh* At least Die Another Day seems to have a reversable cover so that it fits with the collection - I was worried at first that they'd done something stupid. -- Simon Steele Programmers Notepad - http://www.pnotepad.org/

I want to rent a James Bond DVD. I have seen the recent ones and some older ones but I can't remember what the titles were. The life of a James Bond is fascinating to me. A mix of technology, action, and hot women all in wrapped up in a global plot of some sorts:cool::cool::cool: Later,

All of them is a good choice, IMO. I like James Bond.. Has probably a lot to do with the fact that I wanted to be James Bond as a kid. :-D -- Run around in the radiation Run around in the acid rain, On a black, black planet

Who can forget Bond driving his white Lotus into the ocean and the car turning into a sub, in The Spy Who Loved Me? That's the best one, IMHO. I also enjoyed Moonraker. Roger Moore and the evil guy with the metal teeth made those two movies memorable. Regards, Alvaro

Goldfinger. (Ebert actually has it on his 100 great films list) I always thought the one with the guy who only did one film was good too. Here's the user ratings from imdb: James Bond Films

My favorite recent Bond film is "Die Another Day", but I have never seen a bad Bond film. I'm partial to the Bond films with Sean Connery but I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you just chose one at random, they're all good.:) Brad Jennings "You're mom is nice.
