First they kill "Dark Matter" and now the kill the "The Expanse"...where now to get good Hard SciFi shows

And they keep all these zombie shows and vampire shows (so tired of both). There are also so many superhero shows, and I just cannot empathize with a character that has god like powers and still they find god-like villains (it just is too unrealistic...I preferred the old batman to superman). This is the main reason I really hated the new "Wonder Woman" movie. They keep "Killjoys" which is just not the same quality in my opinion, although I guess at least it is something.

Maybe someone else will pick it up. I was expecting the 4th season to be really interesting.
Not likely...Its the SyFy channel, and they are the ones that might pick up. We can always hope :)

I have given up on the whole Marvel batch of films, I don't even bother to download them let alone go to the cinema to watch one. Give me a new star wars/trek or any hard scifi and I will happily fork out $25 to go and see it.

Agree totally. Problem with both vs. the campy Killjoys is that they cannot use crappy sets...Pretty much the same sets they use for the monotonous zombie movies or superhero movies. Creating sets that look like they are the future requires a lot more work. Would have hoped that CGI would have made Star Trek and Star wars type programs more economical. At least the newer SciFi programming looks a lot better than the 50's generation.

Not happy at all. One of the best Sci-Fi shows put on TV. Closely following the books and a high believabilty level (mostly realistic economics and politics, not too much magic (inertial dampeners, FTL, etc - although the drive engine is pretty handy!). And unlike a certain other series the books are coming out regularly as promised so it could keep going on. But I imagine that it is quite expensive to produce with the amount of CGI and the number of sets. Hopefully Netflix or amazon pick it up and keep it going at least until the end of the third book.
I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended. I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended. Freedom doesn't mean the absence of things you don't like. Dave

Dark Matter had really just become a bit of a parody of itself. They had consistently failed to recapture the wonder of the first season. I'm bummed about The Expanse, though.

Very few programs manage to do that. Remember Matrix. The sequels were boring in comparison.
