      Oh dear... How often do some crappy minds re-invent the idea of programming for non-programmers? Another COBOL, MUMPS, ... and other crap to be later maintained by programmers who won't love that.

        Yes, I remember 4GL's, CASE Tools, Executable UML and other failed attempts to go down these routes. The best attempt so far is probably VB6, which made GUIs easy to create for the first time (but didn't exactly encourage good programming practice).
