This brings back happy memories of living, and eating, in Muenchen!

    - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

And how about this[^] at home afterwards?

I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats. His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Matjes mit Salzkartoffeln. Love the fish dishes from the north. Used to live in Niedersachsen for some time.

They buy shoes, then they wear them! They make them sound old! Dairy! Dairy!

In the north I would eat something like Grünkohl, because I don't like fish so much.

It would take me less than 15 minutes to get from here at work to Erding. :-)

I think I'm going here[^] after work and eat this: Ganze Pfefferhax`n mit Pfefferrahmsoße und Semmelknödel, dazu gem. Salat unless they have an even better special today.

I actually lived and worked in Erding so it was compulsory to drink Erdinger Bier! I worked for a large airline, etc. reservation company that shall remain nameless.

No. Hax'n is Bavarian for ... a leg. It's a roasted pork leg with pepper sauce. NOT poached, as some here thought would be good to do to an innocent Bratwurst.

Poached indeed! What a travesty! Back when I was single-handedly holding back the Soviet hordes from crossing the border, after a Saturday night consuming a flagon or two of the good stuff, it was a trip the Bahnhofstrasse (the local one, not the one in Zurich) for 'Bratwurst mit ketchup und pommes frites mit mayonnaise'* - the Bratwurst was NOT poached! *This peculiar mix of languages was quite effective, but pointing and grunting would probably have been just as effective. :-\

Probably a little mistake. Let them poach their Wieners, if they must, but nobody is going to poach my Bratwurst. Hmm, I could make some today...
