was looking at these things, still either too expensive or if cheap just garbage. yeah the expensive ones are OK for what I want, but I'd rather something simpler (thus cheaper) than having 200 extra features that I'll never use. and I'm a short sleeve person, really don't want something that looks like a stupid hospital bracelet. noticed some chinese activity trackers have "pedo meters," I'm curious, 1. how do they detect pedos? 2. what if the wearer goes pedo?

This internet thing is amazing! Letting people use it: worst idea ever!

[The Best Fitness Trackers: Reviews by Wirecutter | A New York Times Company](https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-fitness-trackers/) In the list, there are a few light-featured trackers in there.

          I'd rather be phishing!

I like to sneak other peoples trackers and walk backwards with them on. Then they'll be like "I thought I had 10,000 steps today". Its great.

What do you consider expensive? I was looking at MyMotiv[^] since it isn't a wristband but need to do some additional research to make sure I don't always need my phone with me, etc.
