Who writes the taglines for the Code Project newsletters? Cause they are really funny 😂
-
I have been an avid user of Code Project for a looong time, I can't even remember the first time I was on the site learning how to code. But anyway I would like to know who writes those funny taglines in the newsletter? Here is an example of an extremely funny one:
Quote:
Researchers create safer lithium-ion batteries that harden on impact Explosive, and now with shrapnel!
Who comes up with this stuff cause it's hilarious 😂
"Dreams really do come true."

I think it is Kent himself. And there has been some monokinis involved at some point, but that might be Sean.

Well thank you Kent, for providing me with much needed comic relief. It is very appreciated :)

Ya, 6 months IS a long time. ;)
Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it. Fight for left-handed rights and hand equality.
Well this is a new account because I lost my old account I had created back in 2002.

Like you, I appreciate the snarkastic taglines in the Daily Newsletter/Insider News. It's a great way to start the morning. :) Keep up the good work Kent and Sean! Your wit does not go unnoticed! :)

We measure time in human years, not in dog years. :-)
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats. His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

My favorite feature on CP is the Insider by Kent. It keeps me coming back every day.

Don't get me started on how much I love CP, I'm surprised that these young junior devs don't really know about this place. They'd rather watch programming tutorial videos on YouTube X| . How am I supposed to pause the video, or find the exact step I'm looking for ? Maybe you guys like to watch them, but I'd rather read an article with links to more info .

It's the right type of humor for otherwise terribly uninspired article titles. It takes real talent to be this consistent. I, for one, really appreciate it, and I'm generally not the type who praises others just because. Those tidbits make me look forward to the newsletter every day, and that's saying a lot.
