It won't die! I keep trying, but ... they keep on making cr@p. This weeks gem: Qube - the worlds first smart trash can[^] Yes! You can check your bin from your phone! How did you possibly live without this? And they only need £210,000 to start it off. Get in on the ground floor NOW! (I'll be outside, pointing and laughing)

      From the comments:

      Rhodri said:

I donated €1 just so I could tell you how dumb this project is. Recycling isn't hard. I have a bin that cost me £15, it has two pedals. If I have recycling in my hand I press the green pedal, if not I press the yellow one. This process does not require any smarts. Do you really think this Qube monstrosity will make someone who isn't already inclined to recycle do so? No. You're clearly smart people, so go apply yourself to something worth while.

Ha ha! I was going to make a comment about the project failing because of confusion about 'recicled', but Rhodri nailed it.

I don't know on your pc... but on mine it says "the target of the project was not reached until december 22nd 2016" But they still got 4k+ $

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

I'm not sure which part of it erodes my faith in human intelligence te most: that they raised 4K at all, or that they expected to raise 210K in just one month... :sigh:

I might consider buying it once it gets so smart that I can throw it into itself.
