Don't you think (16) means no space? I am just curious to know what the solution is as I hardly encounter 16 letter long word

Normally, I'd agree with you - but some crossword compilers just give the "letters count" as a total instead of (8, 8).

Normally, I'd agree with you - but some crossword compilers just give the "letters count" as a total instead of (8, 8).
