I mentioned in December that I'd just started throwing up at the beginning of November and nobody could tell me why. Six months later I finally appear to have an answer ( I haven't seen the specialist yet but I have the condition that can cause the symptoms I'm having so as far as I'm concerned someone is going to have to prove it's not the case ) It appears I have a bowel adhesion which means bits of the small intestine are sticking to other bits of the small intestine. Since this is caused by surgery most likely my kidney transplant, further surgery is not ideal as once this thing starts to happen further surgery is just likely to cause more of the same. So it's looking like a live with it situation. I'll miss the money but I really can't say I'm not sick of working for morons who aren't intelligent enough to understand what I'm talking about even after I've explained everything to them. On the brighter side I now have time to do my own stuff and then write it up for codeproject :-D Anthony www.TonysOpenSource.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

Try going to see a naturopath. I've heard a lot of positive stories about issues that doctors haven't been able to help that have been cured (or at least relieved) by going to see a naturopath. I haven't tried it myself, but it may help Ryan Being little and getting pushed around by big guys all my life I guess I compensate by pushing electrons and holes around. I remember seeing on television someone with the same problem, but with about 15 adhesions and ops to seperate them triggered more (a genetic tendency in her case) X| It was solved surgically by using sheets of the same material that 4 week self dissolving sutures are made from. By the time these dissolved the adhesion sites had healed, so there is hope. Good luck, hope it gets sorted soon. Elaine :rose: The tigress is here :-D

Microsoft deliberately adds arbitrary layers of complexity to make it difficult to deliver Windows features on non-Windows platforms--Microsoft's "Halloween files"From what I've read diet and drugs seem the most likely but at the end of the day it's all going to depend on how the consultant views the situation when I see him in July. Although from what I've read my condition isn't that bad in terms of how bad it could be so to me it would make more sense to that way rather than through the surgical route. Don't waste your money on the quacks. All this far east and natural healing stuff is just a bunch of quacks trying to take you for your last dime. If you want to go that route then just send me all your money, I will tell you to eat grass, and then when it doesn't work, I will blame you for not becoming one with your inner child and not achieving harmony with the Chi. http://skepdic.com/chi.html[^] http://skepdic.com/acupunc.html[^] http://skepdic.com/natpathy.html[^] http://skepdic.com/homeo.html[^] http://skepdic.com/[^] Other than that :omg: I do wish you good luck and better health. That's a very clever idea! I hadn't heard of that technique, nor apparently had the doctors back when my ex had similar problems within the abdominal cavity itself. I wonder if that's a commonly accepted approach now, or something just being used in a few places.
