Correct - I was going to post it without the *maybe* using compose as the definition and anagram indicator would that of been acceptable ? maybe is always a giveaway

I have only just turned up, and will say that it was a very easy clue. I think without "maybe" would have been fine, in fact I like it more. However, I personally found the easy part of the clue was simply the use of "endless". It was fairly obvious we had the 6 letters "dietin" to play with. My point is, "maybe" didn't make much difference either way in my opinion.
