Not a bad move, how much for Kalifornia? [Petition calls for U.S. to sell Montana to Canada for $1 trillion to reduce national debt | CTV News](https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/petition-calls-for-u-s-to-sell-montana-to-canada-1.4306271)

It will be a cold day in hell before any current U.S. land is sold to another country. That would be a bad move. But not surprised that your rocket scientist ass thought it was.

Actually - here's something to mull over. Foreign citizens own huge amounts of US lands and other property. The main difference, in one viewpoint, is that since the country doesn't own the land (and that's cynical as they can through shell companies), they get all the benefits and don't have to pay to defend or police the land. Also, since it's Montana, aside from a few monuments, who'd even notice it gone?

because Montana is currently being used by our Government. List of military installations in Montana - Wikipedia[^] I am surprised that you out of all people (Free Masons, etc.) would go along with this bullshit idea. I don't agree with your comments. I don't think they are sound and well thought out.

I should have put a happy face. It's just spin - the current form of information sharing and proof of everything. I wonder how much tax Montana gets from Federal gov't vs. what they pay in. They're probably a net loss. As for the military bases - just move them south a state or two. What's the difference?

For California - $20 trillion. 25 trillion if you take Pelosi et al., as well. (That's what the Red States would pay you to take it off their hands. :D)

Sell Alaska. It's already detached from the rest of the country.

We won't sell it, but we will allow the name to be changed for advertising purposes (and a small fee, of course) :-\

Parts of Syria are currently being used by the US Government but I don't think that by itself is an argument for anything.

and Trump is pulling the U.S. out of Syria, so what is your point? What you just said is the stupidest thing I have read all week.

I think Canada wants to attract tourism by having warmer southern Provinces.

He isn't. Other than that I am guessing the logically obvious wasn't apparent to you. Your argument: Can't sell Montana because the government is using it. My statement: Government is using Syria also. It thus follows that, based on your premise (and nothing else) that the US should claim ownership of Syria. Noting of course that isn't my argument but rather what follows from what you said.
