    Visual Studio blog[^]:

    Over the last few months, we’ve seen lots of thoughtful and passionate discussion throughout the community, on the blog, in Developer Community, and a bunch of social media sites. Through these previews, we were able to share some of the UI changes in this release.

    Aw, look. They do listen.

    And of course - NEW ICONS! {insert slide whistle here}

        Really? A major release, and they changed the f*ckin title bar? And added new icons? And that's news? Who exactly are they listening to?

          I don't know, but I'm guessing a beret or turtleneck are involved.

            It's "The Way of the Future!" Unless you're not a complete bleeding idiot. I've lost count of the times, in recent years, I've wondered why I've even bothered updating stuff. "If it ain't broke" is very firmly a thing of the saner and stronger past.

              "Over the last few months, we’ve seen lots of thoughtful and passionate discussion throughout the community, on the blog" and promptly ignored them. Hurray for us! This is Visual Studio 2012 all over again. Why not bring back ALL CAPS and make the circle complete?

                  Nah! It's a typo! The R is supposed to be a D.

                    Cramming the title bar to save vertical space! I develop on a portrait mode 16:9 screen and have oodles of vertical space. :cool: Everyone should do this - I should work for Microsoft to enforce portrait mode working and thereby reduce title clutter. I hate title clutter! ;P

                    - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.
