9 years since I have been here on this site the last time. Seems that a few of the old guys are still around. How are you all doing? And to the "new" generation, hi how are you?

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Wow. Don't you have to be worthy[^] for that?
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats. His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Hanged my job as cto on the wall and returned to my first job, blacksmith. Got somehow fed up with the software development situation at the time. But i cant stay away.

We knew you'd be back.

You appreciate the field more than the jerk occupying space next to you, it's still classy. There's some programming puns in there. Good to hear that you're taking charge of your existence though, often we waste alot of time maturing only to realize we've been wasting time in meaningless trials with idiots. The real pay-off starts and ends with that cat looking back at us in the bathroom mirror. Welcome home.
I was unaware of that...

I just remembered CodeProject and came back around. Looking at my messages, my last was from 2011. Seeing your post made me reply :) It's been many years, but I'd like to come back more often. I am not much into programming anymore. I still own my software company but are much more on the management/sales side. But I'll to at least come to The Lounge often. Great community here that I definitely miss!! After a quick glance I just saw a couple of old-timers: Marc Clifton and of course Chris.

I am jealous. I keep telling my wife that I want to retire from I.T. and build furniture in my own shop. Money makes the world go round ... but documentation moves the money.
Just do it. Its fun. Come back when needed.
