NYC Considering Banning HOT DOGS And Other Processed Meats Over Climate Change | Daily Wire[^]

    Quote:

The theory behind banning hot dogs, though, is similar to the plan outlined in a national Green New Deal "FAQ" to completely eliminate livestock cultivation: that red meat has an extensive environmental footprint that encompasses everything from methane-producing cattle to the carbon emissions from your backyard grill. The process of raising, handling, packaging, and delivering red meat — and especially processed red meat — is considered by environmentalists as one of the cardinal sins of climate change.

  Actually, I could support banning processed "meats." X|

Good point. Maybe we shouldn't ban it. I'd hate to put oncologists out of work. :-\

I don't eat mice, but have no problems with leftover meat from the bone. That's what a sausage usually is.

If your sausages have nitrates, then you are on the road to colon cancer. Bone or not. Just saying... Meat is fine as long as it is not red meat and as long as it is not processed (mostly nitrates, etc.). Red meat does not digest in the colon like chicken, fish, or pork. Nitrates and red meat will kill you.

Statistically speaking? In case of digestion, it works well, even for the limited ones.

Yes, statistically speaking. Of course, you are not guaranteed to die from the stuff, but neither are you from cigarettes. Being an at-risk colon cancer patient, I don't want to take the chance if I can help it.

First of course it doesn't ban hot dogs in NYC. Second it does intend to reduce the use of processed meat (all kinds) in city run institutions. For example schools. So kids are more likely to get actual beef instead of baloney.

It's much worse than that. How can you be expected to have ball games without hot dogs / frankfurters? :omg: Ball games without hot dogs are tyranny! (Unfortunately, dressing up as "Red Indians" or "Amerindians" or "Native Americans" is no longer allowed...)

Can you imagine the US trying to ban the Burger? Madness! (Actually I am glad these fruit cakes have come out of the closet, it is exposing the Climate Change crock from what it is, eco-terrorism)
