Well, he's American - and their education system doesn't promote Geography or History much. Or maths, or science, or ... reading, or writing, or ... well anything much really.

It used to seem that way - they don't seem to have much hard work to do in school anymore - nothing that they might find unpleasant and perhaps hurt their self esteem. Then I saw, let's say in the last year or two, the the degree of ignorance in the upcoming Euro-Generation has quite caught up in the race to the bottom. There's a reinforcing reason it continues to get worse: why learn anything when you can use your cell phone to Google it?

Iran has already threatened to enrich uranium to higher levels and Israel is shitting its pants. Wars have been started for less. War with Iran may be a tactic from Trump to make sure he is re-elected.
