"I hate ironing". No, sorry. That's definitely true, but not your problem ... Is terminal velocity the speed you reach when late for a flight?

You just might also reach terminal velocity if you skip ironing :suss:

It might seam like a flat-out lie, button other occasions I'm sure you expressed similar feelings (cuff, cuff, at-you). Per terminal velocity:   I won't fall for that !

I don't mind ironing, which is lucky as after my wife had an accident and ended up having her right wrist fused around 10 years ago I have to do all of it around here. Mate of mine finds it really relaxing. He works away during the week, and when home likes to spend Saturday morning doing some ironing and watching sport. If there is no ironing to do he cannot fully relax that weekend.

General housework I don't mind, use it as a break to think away from the keyboard with one very conscious exception: ironing. Since I started working for myself anything that needed ironing was outed to the Sallies (including a few shirts still in the wrappers).

To you - and the others - Here in the states we have an absolute miracle. It's called "Permanent Press". And damn, it goes through the wash and dry and is ready to wear! Even when the press finally starts to wear out, compared to sending the clothes out for ironing you've saved enough for a big new monitor, extra DRAM, even enough to buy a few more shirts. You got to check this out! It's amazing!

I don't like the feel of permanent press fabric against my skin. :(  All my shirts are 100% cotton. /ravi

Well - a cotton undershirt should take care of most of that, no? Oh wait - I just thought of another option for you to consider: Body Paint !* * if you try the body paint, I cannot stress enough how important it is that you do not iron it!
