I was asking my Chinese friend to share a picture of his office facilities just to validate the authenticity of the company. Just a first-level basic test, before we do official visits. He did. On their big office wall, they had a poster for one of their products. It's a huge double-life size poster. There was a title & Model number of the product & the was a big paragraph describing the product - guess what? it was "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum." Apparently nobody validated the content before it went for the big print! Or they really did and found it to be good? :-D Okay not to mock at the Chinese. I've done/do gross mistakes with the language & my mates do it everyday. So no offense. :-O

"French Military Victories"? "The Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything"? "Define anagram"? "I'm a Teapot"? "Do a barrel roll"? ... For a search engine, they tried to be funny. Bing just made people laugh at its attempts to work ...

I would verify that he is still alive and well and working at the same company.

I was expecting the reveal be that it was an as-yet-introduced product that, well, just became "introduced". Oh, and the Latin does not translate well (at least to English within google translate).

As it is an internal poster and may have been a test print that they did not want to trash you may be doing them a disservice. OR it went completely through the process and only when they tried to distribute it did they realise it was a problem.

Your post should be more offensive! Everybody knows that prefacing with "no offense" means offensive content and intent! ;P
