Hi All, I am in the dog house this am as I was supposed to run a soak test on the bit of kit I am testing, the soak script I ran was out of date, (issues with GIT, not being a dev I can't get to the latest files) so I downloaded the latest I could get to and tried to run that. What I did not know was the latest corrects the fault which stops that version dead in its track. So I wasted time (I was off yesterday) so I went into the logs and saw a Watch Dog reset (from the day before, caused by the faulty script) messaged the PM caused havoc. Comes I should have looked at GIT (the bit which I can't see, also I didn't know existed) to make sure I use the latest.

So you are getting in trouble for not looking at stuff you don't have access to? Hmm. Sound like a bunch of :sunshine:s to me ...

How did you guess, however, a bit of prodding and poking and I have full GIT privledges... That will a fun conversation on Monday to have with git in charge GIT!!

It was a wild guess because we're dealing with the same policies here. Most recently there was a "problem" on a database server and we got asked what we'd like to do to fix it. Thing is, we don't have access to those servers because of security, even our DBA isn't allowed to have access to them. He has to write the scripts, send them to another team who will run said scripts and send back the results.
