          When I first posted this, this morning, the headline read "raises £4m". I'll assume that the additional £2m comes from the generosity of CP members.

              NINE million! Apparently, quite a lot of the sponsorships have come from the US, which shows that good people everywhere appreciate good people anywhere.

                  £17m £18m now. The total went up £4m in a single day during the week. One only hopes the management of NHS Charities Together use the money well. Also hope someone has remembered to ask the Palace for a telegram card for his 100th!
