I had a cat... Second one ran away as well :(( I suspect they get bullied away by the 10+ neighborhood cats... Rest assured, the next cat won't be allowed outside for the first year or so and after that only with GPS...

I have an orange tabby cat, and a Newfoundland-Collie mix doggo. Rescued the cat when he was just a few weeks old, from the side of the road. Dog was taken to the shelter when he was about 5, and I scooped him up shortly after. Both are good, chill companions. :)
