Never do anyway. [TMI] I keep two spare rolls in the bathroom*, and when I (or more rarely Herself) replace the "active" roll, I get one from the cupboard under the stairs and replace it. When I remove the last roll from there, I put new rolls on the shopping list. When I next go to the supermarket, I buy a pack of 9, 12, or 16 rolls (depending on unit pricing) and replace the supply under the stairs. * Because Herself dropped the spare down the loo by accident once... [/TMI] I haven't had any problem buying rolls of TP even at the height of the panic buying ...

I did, but bought another 32 roll pack that'll last me another year or two :D I always buy the biggest pack I can find since TP doesn't go over date and I know I'll use it all. My timing was quite bad as I needed TP somewhere in April, first time this year I bought a pack.

Many years ago I had the situation, that I knew I had to buy but I couldn't because problems at work kept me there until late and the malls where already closed. I had to drop by at the company and get some pieces to survive the weekend until I could buy on Monday. Since then... it has never drop that low again.

Nope - I set up an Amazon subscription, and from time to time I have them skip a delivery, if I remember it in time to do so. Amazon had to skip a couple of my deliveries because they were out of stock, but I had more than enough already on hand.
