But that's a problem: you have no idea when it will end. Could be tomorrow as you cross a street. Could be this afternoon, when a meteorite falls on your house. Could be in a thousand years as you fight against the Raptuul Slave Federation in the Immortals Uprising. If you don't know when the end is, where is the middle?

The answer "At the middle, exactly" still remains valid.

It's like Quantum Computing: at the time you "observe" the middle, it has already become outdated.

As I read somewhere, it is when you walk down the hall with a beer belly and bald head telling everyone how sexy you feel.

If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

When I realized I couldn't bother anymore to build my own computer. I had bought all the parts for the computer that's currently my VM host from a local store - where I had been going for decades - and the owner was nice enough not to charge me for putting it all together.

Isn't that when you want an expensive portable and a cheap blonde? :)

I think you could say this thread is what it sounds like. Me, when I know I need to look something up but procrastinate because I know it will cause me to have to look something ELSE up because frameworks.

I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

It sounds like snoring. Mid-life in my experience is when a good night's sleep moved to the top of my list of priorities!..so somewhere around 40 or so. :) Sadly, it's also the age when I found myself going to a lot more funerals, both family and friends. It's when you start to realize you aren't bulletproof. As a developer, it's when I started to think that perhaps my code/applications may outlive me. :sigh: TODO: remove all profanity from code comments!
