Gotta love how a academic debate spirals into insults and talk of half chewed leather cords. Hey don't worry, I can handle it. I took something. I can see things no one else can see. Why are you dressed like that? - Jack Burton

Rob Manderson wrote: Now there's a threat I can respect!! :) Not sure if you know the story behind this. Second last time Chris came back to Australia I organised a few drinks with him. Bryce also liked the idea, so Bryce and myself left work early and coming from different sides of the city met up after an hours journey on public transport. We both had cvlearance from the missuses to be out for the night. Chris lasted one beer with us before running away. Bryce and I have beenb hammering him about it ever since. He claims some pansy arse excuse about jetlag and having had 2 beers before we got there. Bryce and I had to force ourselves to drink alone for the next 5 hours. On top of that I had made the 300 or so km drive on numerous occasions to Canberra when Chris still lived there for a beer. Every time he wimped out and we had coffee instead with Chris having of all things soy latte's. Java is very uncivilized. Please note that I am not trying to start a programming flamewar here. I'm just kiddin' :-D Part of the non-smoking generation since 12/5-2003 22.35.

With nothing but Canadian brews to practice on he's very wise to refrain from overindulging with real stuff. Aussies aren't born with their tolerance for beer; that only happens after they're weaned, and they lose it as soon as they stray from the one true path.

It tolls for thee..."
