Do you listen to any Tech Podcasts? [ ] Do you listen to any Software Development Podcasts? [ ] Do you listen to _any_ Podcasts? [ ] Do you ever use SoundCloud? [ ] Do you listen to podcasts on your computer? [ ] Do you listen to podcasts on a device? (is it just apple?) [ ] Do you ignore podcasts? I was just attempting to find/listen to a tech and/or software dev based podcast on SoundCloud and all of them are like 5 or 6 years old. Just curious about this.UPDATE : POLL RESULTS People here are too old for the Podcast technology. Some of them however do use : 1) ham radios 2) cb (citizen band) radios 3) rotary dial phones :laugh: ;P Podcasts are over.

[ ] Do you ignore podcasts? i mostly download podcast to my phone and listen to them over bluetooth on my car radio. the best podcast for my money is [Software Engineering Radio](https://www.se-radio.net/) there is stuff you can learn at [LispCast](https://lispcast.com/category/podcast/) [Programming Throwdown](https://www.programmingthrowdown.com/) is nice this is bonus [The Retrobits Podcast](https://retrobits.libsyn.com/) [Command Line Heroes Podcast](https://www.redhat.com/en/command-line-heroes) [On The Metal Podcast](https://oxide.computer/podcast/) and when i go for a really long ride with the car, there is nothing better than the AI podcast by Lex Fridman you can find on youtube. this thing is beyond podcast.

Also listen to one or two .NET podcasts and some other programming language related ones. I listen to more podcasts on other subjects, though - history, football (the non-US version of football!), music - very large variety of things.
Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p

:laugh: Given that statement, I actually found one (tech related) and tried to work while listening...doesn't really work for me. At least with a video you are kind of forced to focus/watch...just a couple of guys talking shop couldn't hold my interest. That said, it might work nicely with headphones while the wife is watching HGTV reruns. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the great reply. I am going to try .NET Rocks this morning.:thumbsup: LATER I listened to .NET Rocks and I especially like that they were talking about the bad UX of web sites. They were really going off on the UPS site. They mentioned that if you're using it just to look up a tracking number then you don't notice but if you're really trying to ship something it is terrible. This is the bad UX of many "professional" web sites: the site looks fine until you try to do something.
