I'd like to know a future where this wasn't a setup for some pseudoscientific claptrap like "astrology" or "black magic" designed to part the gullible from their money and give it to parasitic morons.

I peddle in magic of all hues, even black. If anything, it has made me money, but the braceless if statements involved make @SanderRossel very upset.

If there is a supernatural way that can gives the information exactly what will happen in your future of your life time, all the major and minor events and the details of each incidents and exact timeline. Will you choose to know it? Do you want to know it?

No. What if there were no hypothetical questions?

If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

Yeah, but you don't generally tell desperate people you can make everything in their lives better if they give you all their money (and possibly sacrifice a crocodile).

In the end, I'd only want to know the date on which I die. Even just the year. Not how, or the circumstances or anything else surrounding it. Knowing that, I'd work out when I can retire so I can make it comfortably to that day. OTOH, I've always suspected if I knew, I'd have an incentive to retire *right now*.

Of course I would. Then I would know to wear a bulletproof vest to the twin pines mall the night I test my time machine!

No. My life is normally boring, I will continue my normal boring life until I die in a normal boring way in a retirement home 30 something years from now. :rose:

I'm with you. Take a deep seat, and a faraway look and fly under the radar. For me the nursing home is out of the question, though. I expect to drop dead over my keyboard having just made a syntax error!
