Naming help
-
I have decided to ask all of the smart people in the world ;) for some help in naming the latest addition to our house. We are having a hard time naming this one..... We have added to our house, an 8 week old male Golden Retreiver puppy. Cute little guy, looks kind of like a lion cub with white eyebrows. We need a good name for him before we register him. Now for the setup.... our last name is Aday (pronouced just like it looks, as in a day in the life...) so we thought that would name him something "cute" to go along with it.... The best ones that we have come up with so far are: Kingfur Aday and Chewbarka Both are okay but aren't causing any real excitement. Any other ideas? Do Lipton employees get coffee breaks?

Well, the first seems OK. OT: My dog is named Chaarpaayn. In Marathi (my mother tongue), Chaar=four and Paayn=leg/legs. So my dog is literally called "four legs". Public opinion is sharply divided on my sense of humor. It ranges from awesome to awful. So, do something funny, out of the ordinary. I don't know what those names you mentioned mean, tho'. :-O :~ You'll see a pic of cute Chaarpaayn in my bio, JIC you're interested. And can I see pics of your dog ? - I like dogs.

"Atticus" - He was voted #1 hero recently "Yeller" - In the event he gets rabies someday "Molson" - Molson Golden (retreiver) is a brand of beer "Windows XP" - Call him Xper for short. Brings a tear to B. Gates eye. "Alpo" - a dog named Alpo, eating Alpo.

The cutest doggy name I've heard was: Meda (pronounced mee-duh). It's Yugoslav for "baby bear". Cheers, Simon "I ask candidates to create an object model of a chicken.", Bruce Eckel on interviewing programmers. animation mechanics in SVG (my first abstract photo)

What about Microsoft CP Bob? ;P *Crawls under desk to avoid tomatoes* Paul ;) I have been afraid always. When you see something insurmountable ahead of you, say to yourself: "All right! I am afraid. Now that I've been properly afraid, let's go forward." That is the whole secret. - Jeanne d'Arc
