Has anyone had to totally change careers because of Covid? I ask this because I had a painter and decorator paint my house and whilst chatting to him I was amazed to discover that this time last year he was an airline pilot but now he was doing this to make ends meet. And just in case you’re wondering, he did a fantastic job on the landing.

Is that a real question, or just a setup for the joke? :-D

            Cheers, Vikram.

Yes, there are definitely new and I would not call it carrier. Ask / post something serious and all of the internet created jokers come out of the woodwork.

Luckily I am not affected in this way. But I know a couple of cases and it is not nice.

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Some years ago I had to take a job as a butcher. So for a while was able to easily make ends meat.

There's an old adage in the world of flights which I extended (Italics): A good landing is when you can walk away from it. A great landing is when you can use the plane again.

You know that big fan on the front of the plane is just to cool the pilot, right? Just watch him sweat if it stops.
