just because I hated Matrix Reloaded? I loved the first Matrix, but now I want my money back... Long, long, long talking about nothing, Long, long, long dancing scene, The same fx repeated to exhaustion, no end. It seemed to me that they decided to split what would be a two-hour movie into two movies (Reloaded and Revolution), so they had to stretch each of the movies so they fit in two hours. The dialogs seemed to be created by interpolation... BTW, Bruce Almighty rules! ORACLE One Real A$#h%le Called Lary Ellison

The dialog and a lot of the scenes were rather "campy"--in particular there were scenes practically copied out of Star Trek, cop shows, ET, Crouching Tiger..., basically, just about any "B" flick seems to have been spoofed by the Matrix Reloaded. I've been wanting to see it again just to see what I missed the first time. Must be tons of stuff. I guess it's part of what makes a cult film, isn't it? But no, you're not a freak. I thought Star Wars, Return Of The Jedhi was awful, as are The Lord Of The Ring movies. And yes, I would agree, the Matrix Reloaded was pretty bad. Marc Help! I think it was seriously lacking too! For one, no new camera effects - hey that's ok (how often do you revolutionize something), but don't replace it with CG that you can easily tell is fake! For two, if you want to see a movie with sexual innuendoes every 5 seconds, rent a porn for crying out loud! The 2nd matrix had too much of that crap in it, and it to me it took away from the point. For three, they limited what "the one" was capable of anyway. I mean, if he's 1337 enough to stop bullets, he's 1337 to stop Agent Smith from multiplying. I mean, it's all in his mind remember, anything would be possible. He could turn all the agents into himself or donkey kong for that matter, but the movie didn't show the trueness of what "the one" was supposed to be about. The first one did, but not the second one. For four, the ending seemed superficial! I mean come on! For years and years Morhpis believed in the prophecy, and in two split seconds he doesn't believe anymore? Yeah right! Jeremy Falcon

I haven't actually watched it yet and the reason is that the thing was just so hyped that I was sick of hearing about it before it even reached the cinema. Loved the first one No interest at all in the second, perhaps I'll watch it when they put on as the chrimbo film on the beeb in a few years time. Anthony www.TonysOpenSource.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

Yes, Yes, Yes. I was a little bit surprised when John wrote "too much sex" - but he's right, basically. For three, that's why I like Smith - taking Neo's mouth away in the first movie was showing the *real* power of manipulating the matrix. But, to keep my faith, I will judge #2a only after #2b is out.

"Reloaded" and "Revolution" were made simultaneously, so I suppose the authors conceived M2 as the first part of a "global story". Perhaps should we wait for M3 before judging M2? Didn't you like the concept of "backdoors"? :)

Marc Help! I was rather ambivalent towards the first movie. I haven't bothered to go watch the second one yet. I'm trying to convince myself to go, yet a part of me sorta wishes it leaves the theaters before I do. :-D
