Rain will it ever end?

It's only 38C now, but it's early morning, and it's not summer yet. Since the monsoon season has already started we regularly get some cloud cover, but never enough to make actual rain. A week of rain would be most welcome!

Looks like we may get a little rain this evening - will be a relief after the last week! Our offices aren't built for this sort of heat. Although I'm one of the fortunate few who can get into the server room and pretend to work there :-O Sounds like it's time for you to take a holiday :rose:

So when the A/C is not working good I will always find some work to do with the servers... Megan Forbes wrote: Sounds like it's time for you to take a holiday I think so Megan. I had a nice vacation in February and I could use one now... John

In Pittsburgh we have had the rainiest couple of months that I can remember. It seems to rain every day. And this is usually not your ½ hour variety. It is all day, 5 days a week. I guess it did not rain on Sunday. For awhile there I was not sure we were ever going to see the sun… Is it this bad in Seattle? How is the weather where you live? John
Spectacular storm here in Islamabad at the moment, winds speed about 125 Km/hour. These storms are common in this part of the world and cause severe damage specially to electricity supplying companies. It is just the beginning of monsoon season. ;)

Southern California. Currently 80°F and rising. Mild still. Will be 100$deg;+ soon. No rain in couple of months where I am at. No significant rain in about 1.5 years. Drought. Trees in mountains nearby all dying from lack of rain and pests. Major fire hazard. Just another typical day where I am at. Hasn't been sunny lately though. Lots of cloud cover. Been sunny this past weekend, but before that all June gloom. --

I was in San Diego for the last week in February. It was not as sunny (partly cloudy with temps in the 60s) as it was the previous February but still much better than the 18 inches of snow we got that week in Pittsburgh... John

It's 84 f and we have been blessed with about 2 inches in the last week. Grass all greened up and picture perfect skies. That only puts us about 5 inches behind for the year. For the next few months most of us here (North Central Texas) will take what we can get. But we do not expect any floods in the process. "For as long as I can remember, I have had memories.
