Members with few points are judged as inferior. For all those who think CP Rep = f (a * Knowledge) should activate their one or two cells again For me it looks 'a' is often lim -> 0 :(

Not at all, it's just that people with more points are better :D CP does a good job of hiding away rep points, better than most forums, and I think it lets people who ask questions assimilate the answers on their merits and not based on some number\column\symbol next to the users name. I see on other forums with prominent "rep" systems that people with lower reps are literally ignored and people only want to ask questions of those with higher reps, even if those people generally give bad advice, they just give it more often.

That's the wrong view then. All of us started with zero points. Also, enough young people starting out. My last surgeon was in her early twenties. It never occured to me to ask for her "points" on a website

I get your point(s), hehe :-\ But you might think of it as an initiation rite we all had to get through.

You’ve been a member for less than a month. The one answer of yours that I looked at in QA told the questioner to google it, and used cursing to get your point across. You are indeed inferior, but not because of your low rep points.

Not here... When I started I found lots of people willing to help. And even I don't have much time to participate here I learn a lot, have fun... Of course from time to time it appears a super star that thinks is the best thing since the invention of coffee, but this happens everywhere. Relax, have fun and enjoy this super community.

I’m willing to argue with you, but I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Not inferior just less experienced. Keep going for a couple of years and you will probably gain some experience. Probably not though, you seem to only post in the lounge and spam forums.

Most of us here are developers. Your snide comment isn't lost on us; you're not the only one here who has done high school math. If that's how you're trying to demonstrate how you're not "inferior", you should look for something else--this is not how you're going to make yourself endearing to the old-timers.

His comment is completely lost on me. So are you saying I'm stupider than a high schooler? Should I remind you that I have way more rep than you and so you should be groveling at my feet?
