Because I am Asian, should I be fired?

doesn't matter who you are! Period! if you do your job you should be rewarded at the very least with the assurance that you are doing your job. Your boss is an idiot. Sorry about that. But in this climate with the amount of decent jobs out there. I would be looking for a new job. You deserve to be treated with respect. No matter what. PS I wish I was hiring. Loyalty should always be rewarded.

Write down each incident in detail in documentation that you keep outside of work. Time, date, content of what was said. Any other relevant details. You could record every conversation on your phone but you must FIRST check the laws in the state where you live since some states require that both parties be aware of the recording. Well no one should be fired based on their ethnic background. Sounds like your manager is a real jerk and you should report him to HR or his manager. At the end of the day that's the reason large companies like that have an HR dept in general. To make sure they are protected from liability issues and it sounds like that manager is a liability issue. Good luck~

This is the most unethical thing to do and now when everyone says that we are united and we respect each other's culture and values then this is not at all acceptable. As far as an employee is considered then if they are loyal and sincere towards their work they should be given equal respect and appreciation.
