Well it amazed me ... I'm trying to do Daily Objectives every day (got the 7-in-a-row award yesterday!) but one of today's was "Recruit a member to your MC" and since I have no friend who play computer games I was a bit stuck. So when at last I asked a random member if he'd mind joining for 30 seconds and he said "Sure! I'll finish this heist prep and get back to you" I was gobsmacked! And he did - so now I have 8 days in a row! Only 20 to go for the "big reward" but I doubt that'll be possible - at least one is going to require me to buy a submarine or something ... So it's true: not everyone playing GTA V is a griefer on an Oppressor II!* * Just most of 'em.

If they play computer games, they have no time to be friends. :-\

Feel free to send a friend request; my handle is dandy-72 (same name I use here, but with a hyphen). I was lucky enough to find a good crew when I started; most of us are always eager to help with just about anything. Being part of a good crew makes a big difference in the enjoyment of the game. We frown upon mods and cheats, and the unwritten rule is that if any griefer comes after one of us, then we gang up on whoever started it. That in itself can be great fun. :-) I tend not to do the daily objectives unless they're trivially easy, because sometimes you're asked to do something like complete a heist as leader, and doing that requires a dozen prep missions that each require at least two people. I don't think I've ever done a 7-day stretch for daily objectives.

That's different! Out of interest do you sell many? I'd have thought they were a very expensive toy that wouldn't get used much?

Actually, the business has been defunct for a few years. We sold over 800 back in the 80's and 90's. They are expensive toys, much more expensive now than then. We used to go to trade shows all the time with them, and would sell an average of 6 per show, so it was a lot of fun.

One of the greatest things about being a one-man-band is that I never, ever have to do trade shows again! Gawd I hated them - the worst was Interpack in Dusseldorf - absolutely massive show, about 200,000m2 of stands, 3000 odd exhibitors, open for at least a week (and the locals bring their kids round at the weekend, damn them) it was ten days in a German Hotel, eating out (with distributors / large customers) every night, and busy, busy, busy from opening to closing. Never sold a thing at the show - we were looking to expand / replace our international distributor network. And as Technical Manager I had to be there and talk to anyone. Sheer hell to be on the stand, but boy was it worth it - some of the distributors we picked up sold shed loads!

Thankfully, I'm not in that business any more - coding and marking: printing sell by dates etc. on product as it goes down conveyor belts. Loads of money in it, but ... a lot of stress as a result.

At the risk of pointing out the mundane and obvious... Hadn't realized you considered yourself a griefer. Interesting..

                                    I can't be a griefer, I don't own a Oppressor 2 ...
